I have seen pictures for two different "MSN companions". One looks like the iPaq kinda, the other is a tower made by e-machines. What's the deal? It is very confusing to me for some reason. Is it a V1 and V2? The emachines product code is EZNET200. Can someone clear this up? Thanks
The EZNET200 from eMachines is called an MSN Companion, and the IA-1 from COMPAQ is also called a MSN Companion. They both run a version of WinCE that hooks (ONLY) to MSN's web site/service.
There is also an IA-2 from COMPAQ which uses the same hardware in the eMachines device, but also includes a built-in monitor. This too is an MSN Companion!
