Another BeIA image (modified 0 times) Curious Profile I just got another IA and believe it is a Clipper. The image is slightly different than the other two BeIA images already available, closer to the 2nd version. I will try to get an image off, but I believe it's very similiar to the 2nd BeIA available. When I click on "About BeOS" nothing happens. But I can get to the desktop with Alt Q. RE:Another BeIA image (modified 0 times) thinker Profile If you could kindly open it up and take some _HIGH RESOLUTION_ pictures of the motherboard, it would be appreciated. I emphasise high resolution since most of the pictures up until now have been relativly low resolution and totally useless for reading what chips are on the board. I would like to find out what additional chip are on board for ethernet. I suspect it's probably some cheapie chip like a Crystal LAN, but I would like to see what's on the clipper board and the support chips for it. RE:Another BeIA image (modified 0 times) Curious Profile I tried to make an image of the internal flash, but there already was a 32mb CF installed. After I removed it and replaced it with a CF with Dolly, the system started with BeIA Ver 1.0 not the custom copy. I reinserted the 32mb CF and got the error invalid system disk. That custom image use to start-up with the message "loading stinger", don't get that message anymore. Also, the internal is 32mb not 16mb and I believe Airman already provided that image. I will try to take pictures this weekend, but I didn't need to open it to access the bios so the pictures of the motherboard might take a little time until I have a chance to open it up. 03-05-2002 15:03:33
