Does the latest midori image on ia1hacking have the kaweth driver? How about smbmount? Thanks!

It does have the kaweth driver, but not smbmount. My latest (unreleased) version has smbmount, but i'm having problems getting it to work with busybox mount and the regular mount command has problems with the read only filesystem. Later tonight i'm going to get rid of red hat and install something that will let me compile a custom mount command for midori.

I downloaded and installed midori-new.img from ia1hacking, but I only see the pegasus driver, not kaweth. Is there a better place to get midori?

Thanks!

It's built into the kernel. If you're having trouble getting it to work, try the web configuration interface by opening "localhost" in opera.

Will do. I was fiddling with that, but I'll try again.

I still can't get my NIC working. It's a Netgear EA101 which uses the kaweth driver, and I have had it working before so I know it's not DOA. I note that there's no reference to finding it in dmesg if that means anything.

I can't get it working using the web interface. When I open a root console and try to do it manually I also fail. ifconfig eth0 gives me

eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

I tried deleting then recreating eth0 using the web interface.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure other people have been having similar problems though I know some people are using it successfully. I don't have a usb adapter that uses kaweth so I can't test it, but I suggest that you try the upcoming version which will have the most recent kaweth driver. Hopefully that will fix it.
