Midori keyboard mapping
Mapping the IA-1 forward and backward buttons

Also, does anyone know how to map a key to a combination (meta+key) combo? I would like to map the forward and backward buttons to ALT-RIGHT and ALT-LEFT accordingly, so the function like they do on the original MSN image. I tried:

keycode 171 = Alt_L Left
keycode 175 = Alt_L Right

but this results in Alt_L only - it never sends the Left or Right. This would be particularly useful in opera, and make it function more like the original IA-1 software. If I find the answer before it's posted here, I'll reply with the answer.

Heh.. I've been having that problem for quite some time..

I don't think it can be done
what can be done is make the keys send commands like..

mybrowser javascript:history.back()

Just about every browser (except Opera) works with that trick. For some reason Opera always cuts of the last ")".

Happy Hacking,
Julio
