Sorry if this has been asked a million times before. I am new
to this group and have my IA1 all hacked and ready for the cf,
but I can't seem to figure out how to use part.exe and was
wondering if it's a critical step necessary before dolly'ing
the midori image to the IA1

RE:What purpose does part.exe play and do I need to run it? (modified 0 times)
It was used to mark a partition as "bootable"... It's really only used to make a partition bootable for DOS... part.exe is also not needed at all if you're using nt4/2k/xp.

Ok, so if I just format my cf, sys it and copy dolly and my midori image to it then as long as I can boot to it, which I can, then all I should need to do is dolly the midori to the ia1...right?
