| I don't know what the exact refresh rate is, but I do know that the decay rate/pixel latency is horrid. Moving windows around results an a lot of ghost images. I would imagine that video would be very blurry. Depending on your application, this might not be a problem. (keeping an eye on the pool via CCTV, etc). Watching a film with any large amount of action though would likely be painful.
As far as CPU, though, I've seen lesser systems handle the datastream - so I don't think you would be very CPU bound. I had a Pentium 266 with a Haupauge PCI tuner board that ran just great. Of course, that was PCI - and this is USB, but the problem is still I/O - not CPU clock cycles. | |
