IA-1 with 240V AC supply?

I've just bought an IA-1 for use in the UK. At the moment I'm running it through a step-down transformer to be safe, but does anyone know if it will work with a standard UK power supply? (220V-240V).

I plug mine directly into the 240V socket here in Thailand. ( I checked the power input spec. first of course)

It's been running for a month or two with no problem.

This is very good news. I just took delivery of my nice new blue IA-1 Clipper from the postman here in Melbourne, Australia, and have been running it through a stepdown as well. I thought it would need modification.

Now verified, the CE1000/Clipper does indeed run directly from 240 volts. Bottom plate and sticker attached to the p/s module were checked first, of course. One less mod to make. :)
