I had contact with the developer of the pegasus based USB NIC driver for BeOS. He will add support (well at least the Vendor and Product ID) for the Linksys USB100TX.
As soon as an updated driver is released I will build a new image on try it on the IA-1.

Thats good, but did you explain to him you wanted to use it with BeIA and your Compaq IA-1??
If so, what did he say?

Cool, looking forward to trying it out. I flashed over BE with Midori because it supported my Linksys.

Coward,

Actually I never got the drivers to work on a basic BeOS5 installation. I figured if I can first get the Linksys NIC to work under BeOS, then I can try under BeIA...

Cheers

Weeks ago I managed to flash my Linksys USB NIC to be compatible with the Pegasus drivers for BeOS5.
I did get my USB NIC to work under BeOS5 but after many hours of trying, I decided to ditch the idea of running BeIA with USB ethernet on the IA-1.

I'll give QNX a try now.

Again, I'd like to thank Coward for supplying me the BeIA Dev Kit.
