The code to enter on the tech screen is ERASE

This will erase all of your settings, username, password and other personal stuff. It will also cause your IAone to reboot. When mine did this, I almost had a cow, as it initally reverted to the msn companion v1.0 screens for a little while, and then went back to normal 2.0.

Codes fixit and murmur no longer work in msn companion 2.0.

If the stock IA-1 (v1 or v2) has anyway to get to the registry, look these up:

GlobalPage
CLSID:36359CB1-872A-11D3-83C4-00C04F6B5324

The source for the webpages has a reference to this object and I am guessing that it is some control (ActiveX) used for authentication.

In the Windows 2000 registry, this control does not exist, nor does the CLSID. Looks specific to the MSN Companion me thinks.

There is also a reference to manga.net. Any ideas?
