USB Video Capture and Output with IA-1

I honestly think one of the coolest applications for an IA-1 is a networked PVR. Is there any such USB video capture and output adapters or breakout boxes, that will work with linux, and run in the limited envionment?
Maybe even have some kind of OSD(on screen display) API so u can see what your doing on your TV without the recording what your doing.

Keep in mind that all video would be recorded to an external mount point either via CIFS, or NFS.
