DirectFB on IA1
Trying to make an image with DirectFB and gtk+-2.0

Hi,

I've downloaded the midori_3 build kit and I'm now trying to get DirectFB running on it.
One of the first steps I need to take is find a way to boot into a different VESA fb mode.
Does anyone know where I can change the kernel boot parameters ?

Also, to make it easier on myself I'm thinking of having the thing boot off an NFS-server, like an X terminal does. Just mount the share it needs and start programs from that. Anyone tried that ?

The only way I know of changing the vidmode on bootup
is to change the vidmode setting of the kernel...
Try using the vidmode command or rdev -v command on the
kernel that you are using in your build.

As far as I know, the only mode the works is vidmode 771.
I have compiled and installed svgalib and have gotten it
to work with the Vesa and FB modes but only in one resolution...
800x600.....I can't seem to get it to work at 640x480.
