I saw a blurb somewhere awhile back about a new version coming this fall or later. Apparently the present IA's are discontinued. Right? Does anyone know anything about it? If this has been covered before I'm sorry but I couldn't find anything.

i'm a tech for compaq and the kind of troubleshooting, with the IPAQs, i do has nothing to do with getting BIOS infomration and stuff. I just say to them, 'did you call msn?' or 'did you do a fail safe' if they say yes and the computer still dosn't work i send them a new one. There really isn't much to troubleshoot. compaq does not support hacking them so i was never trained in doing that. I imagine there is a way to hack the unhackables units and i can try and find information on how to do it. And as far as i know there is no onboard NICs just USB ports and even if there was you can't just buy the board alone, you have to purchase the whole thing.
If you would consider selling it, name a price? I haven't played with my IA-1 (hackable) in a very long time... I haven't played with my systems in general in a very long time... not enough energy lately. But if the price is right, I will probably add to my junk collection. :) Offer a price.
