I'm thinking of putting together a little kit to add a laptop harddrive to your ia-1.

The kit will include

one 44 pin right angle IDC Male header
three 480 ohm (0805) resistors
twenty or twenty-five feet of 32 AWG teflon coated wire

I also plan to make some new instructions that are a little easier for the (everyday joe) to use and understand.

Optionally a laptop ide cable and i-opener bios can be included, and if want the harddrive too.

My reason for wanting to do this is that most of this stuff was really hard to find. The wire, resistor, and IDC header mainly.

Do you guys think this would be a good idea?

If so what would be a good price for this kit?

Would you buy one?

I don't want to order this stuff and not be able to sell it, I'm not trying to make alot of money (I would like to have a little for my trouble but not much), this is mainly so people won't have so many problems finding things.

What do you guys think?

Thanks alot for any opinion that you have.

If you want one now let me know and let me know what you would like in your kit at support@qualitycomputerservice.com

Also tell me what it is worth to you and I'll tell you if I can do it.
