I'm soldering in a laptop hard drive and have some questions.

1. The signal "key" and "CS Pullup" (IDE pins 20 and 28) what and where are they on the motherboard.

2. Where do the ground signals hook up? I was told the side of a cap, is that a capacitor and if so how do I tell which side is neg. ?

4. And my last question is can I do this without removing the sandisk. If so, how? I read something about tieing the os pin high what does that mean to tie a pin high?

Thanks Alot,
