Midori config help?
Attempting to build midori from scratch - problems with config

After looking over several of the images floating around, I decided to try and roll my own. I dropped a couple of old hard disks in my Windows box and installed RedHat 7.1. I did update the C compilers to the latest release before building.

I tried downloading the beta3 build kit from transmeta, but I'm having a few problems. For one, esound doesn't want to compile. I received what I thought was a build kit, but it didn't have a config file in it - just the image, and a custom Linux kernel.

Could someone give me some pointers on the Midori configuration stuff? In particular, Xfree86 and esound. I'd really like to find WildWes' config script, as it had most of what I am looking for.

Thanks!
- radarman.

My midori was based on the midori for the iopener at http://m4i.homeip.net which was based on the midori at http://tengu.homeip.net/midori/ and it's a binary-only distribution. I tried to compile from the source one time but it was time consuming and had problems running on my system. There was a guy who posted here as lasersinthejungle and he compiled a similar distribution from the midori stuff. You might try to get in touch with him about his configuration.
