I have a usb floppy drive that I would like to sell as well. I tried using it on the emachine but I must have been doing something wrong. I got the emachine over a year ago, and was unsuccessful at the time. I haven't done anything with it for almost a year - I have too much other stuff that I am not even using: 2 IA-1s, 2 dynapads, and an amity vp. And 2 flex atx systems in those nice ibm netvista flex atx cases. Your site looks good. Would have been helpful if I had seen it about a year ago! I am probably just going to get rid of it all. RE:where can you buy a emachines eznet200 (modified 0 times) mp3boombox Profile | Email cant do much with it? what cant you do? its got parallel, serial, usb, IDE, maby DUAL serial or internal usb have not varafied yet. onboard video, sound line in/out ECT! onboard 56k modem. you can put a doc on it upto 288megs or maby larger? you can over clock them you can upgrade the memory, its the cheepest computer when it comes to power you'll EVER USE!! untill mother boards go to ink jet printed on plastic mother boards. <- when that day comes where talking impossable modding!!! When i finish doing my MOD'S and posting all of my info about the systems I'll finaly put mine back togeather and make a main computer out of it. BSD or linux. If i want to do games and stuff I'll use my big computer, if i want to just have a computer ready to go on line at any time. And to use to download with. I'll always have my emachine running! I know a guy who is using his as a router. I know an other guy who has a few of them in his cyber cafe. he's got them and a few monitors setup all close togeather! with my help we got them all running and best of all cause they have onboard speakers the guy doesnt get charged tax for speakers PER computer HAHAH. When i finish and get around to it. I'll have both my big computer and my emachine on a network, emachine being the internet server/terminal. Then its a matter of choosing which computer I want to use and changing a switch to switch the monitor source. Your options are endless!! 02-20-2003 18:35:14

(call me lazy) But so I have not even tryed to figur out what is missing as far as getting the memory going. Is realy nothing more then a few to 20 at most caps and resisters that are missing. All that needs to be done is mapping out the empty pads on the back of the board to the memory pins. then you got to figur out what value resister/cap goes in its place.
