| Hello everyone, I just got an IA1 from a friend of mine who had never even powered it on, and so I wanted to see what I could do with it. I found this bbs and have done some other research, and I decided to try to get Midori running on it. I got the image from http://m4i.homeip.net/ and put it on a CF card, and after some struggling I can now start to load Linux now. However, I get the error
kernel panic: unable to open an initial console
I have tried a few other images and get the same error with them. Can anyone help me out? I understand this error happens when the kernel trys to open /dev/tty1 and it is not there, but I don't understand enough about Linux or the image-making process to know how to try and fix it.
