Compatible Hardware
What hardware to buy for your Companion mod!

I just found out my IA-1 is hackable, and I would like to get some input from everyone on what hardware to buy for modding. I need to get a cf card, a reader/writer, and a usb network adapter. I know this forum contains tons of info, but how about posting it in one thread and making the thread sticky so new users (and IA gurus as well) could reference the info???

Can I use the cf to ide adapters that are for sale everywhere for around $20 to write the Midori image to my cf card? They are exactly the opposite of what is being used to put a drive in the IA-1, it lets you use a cf card as an IDE device on your desktop. As slow as this board is, I hope someone is still watching!
