I sent a ipaq ia-1 to my grandma a year ago or more, she really liked it. This last month her phone bill was >$700. apparently in the middle of the night her ipaq turns itself on and calls the salman islands. She was in the hospital for a week during which many calls were made so I know it's not something she's clicking on. When asked about it she said that yes sometimes it wakes her up when it comes on in the middle of the night. I wouldn't have thought this was possible, but I converted mine to linux right away so i've not really used it. They don't have msn where she live so her isp is earthlink. Does anyone know how this could be happening? Has this happened to anyone else?
