| Actually, you don't have to compile anything to run MisterHouse. It is all done in perl scripts. Nearly every distro has perl as part of the default install, but if yours doesn't, that's all you need.
Keep in mind, the FULL MisterHouse kit is a tad heavy on RAM - however, you can eliminate a good chunk of the code, and get that to a more reasonable figure.
