I've seen references to using a PC-card to CF adapter to be able to create a CF card
with a valid image. But, since DOLLY is required to run from DOS, and I don't have
any card and socket services loaded in dos, how does this work?
It seems obvious that if I had an IDE-CF adapter, this wouldn't be an issue because
the PC would just see the CF as an IDE drive. But, if you have PC-card (w/o card services
from DOS because they didn't come with my PC) or a usb cf-adapter, then I would expect
Dos to not see these, and thus be impossible for DOLLY to work (supposedly will not work
from Windows DOS box).
I had to post this message because I don't have a PC-card CF adapter yet. I was thinking
of buying one if this is a workable solution. So far, I've been unable to create a bootable
CF with my sandisk SDDR-31 usb CF adapter.
Thanks for any help....
