RE:How do I launch the linux console in midori in ia-1? (modified 0 times)
I just got my IA-1 working with M4I a day or two ago, so I may have some mis-perceptions. The 10 keys at the top of the keyboard do not work as F keys for me; I believe they do not return the correct scan codes. I presume that there is some way to get them mapped to F keys, but I don't know how.
I have not found a way to re-start or return to X once I get to a virtual console, but here are several options:
1) do <ctrl><alt><backspace>, that will kill X and give you a vc. You can do the same with one of the options on the Midori configuration web interface.
2) The web interface will also start a xterm with root privileges
3) You can start a xterm with user privileges from the window manager.
