Midori Questions about newly converted IA1

Converted an IA1 to Midori last night (took about 10 minutes), but have run into some things and have a few questions using Midori m4ia-2.3pre1 (from http://m4i.homeip.net/):

1. The "mouse-on-the-keyboard" has some issues. Extremely slow, and while holding it down, it suddenly accelerates to the upper right corner of the screen. If this can't be fixed via some settings - will a USB mouse work?

2. If the unit is powerec up, and I insert a CF card, the unit freezes. Works fine if you boot with the CF card already inserted, or if it's powered up and you remove the card. Insertion under power locks the system up. Any fixes?

3. I've already posted to another thread about the DLink DWL-122 USB wireless, but if anyone has any help here, that would be great.

tundrwd,
1) The mouse that's built into the keyboard is a fairly common (and cheap) resistive-membrane type - the same kind found on high-end remote presenters and such. It wasn't that great under WinCE or BEIA either. I suggest a USB mouse. If you really want a small, tight outline - Microsoft makes a "laptop" mouse that is very tiny, yet still functional.

2) The CF port on the IA-1 is essentially a second IDE port, not a memory port. CF is NOT hot-swappable when running in true-ATA mode - and even when it is running in "memory" mode, software has to support hot-swapping. Strictly speaking, the same thing is likely to happen if you plug or unplug a HDD into a regular PC.

3) No clue. I'm still (pointlessly, I think) trying to get the %!@$ ethernet port on my clipper to work.

Aarrrghh! I'm thinking USB flash readers, not ATA. Duh! My only excuse was it was late at night, the dog ate my homework, ....
