Greetings.
Is the modified version of Jailbait Linux that fits on a 16MB flash card available anywhere?? I've been scouring the Web and I can't find any active links.

The links I've seen have pointed to files with names like ia-linux-16mb.img (used to be on nc.flyingbuttmonkeys.com) and linux-3.img (on IA1Hacking.com) but the files don't seem to be available.

Is there some other Linux I can fit onto a 16MB CF card that I can use or can someone direct me to where I can get one of these disk images??

Thanks, but I tried that one before posting; says that the file (the .img file) is not found.

Any ideas?

Which image were you attempting to get?

Ah, I was looking to get the JAILBAIT image, not Midori. But okay, I'll try Midori.

Any idea where I can get the JAILBAIT image?

If you download Rasmus' linux-3 image (I think that's the name) from ia1hacking.com, it should do everything you need. Rasmus Lerdorf (the creator of PHP) is the guy who built it from the original Jailbait distribution, and it was his third whack at tailoring it.

Also, check out http://m4i.homeip.net/ where they've got a Midori image tailored for the IA-1. You'll want the file m4ia-2.3pre1 which you can download directly from this link: http://sirl.stanford.edu/bob/m4i/m4ia-2.3pre1.img

It's more up-to-date than any of the Jailbait distributions (including Rasmus') it's specifically for the IA-1, and it's configurable through the browser. 8^D

Hi.

I downloaded the m4ia-2.3pre1.img file and loaded it onto a 16MB CompactFlash card. I loaded the card into the machine and booted. LILO came up, messages flew by, it was great! Then the last two lines were:

Warning: unable to open an initial console.
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

Can someone tell me where to go from here?
