Hi,

I would like to use my IA-1 as a picture viewer on the Compaq IA-1 but I can't launch FBI. When I launch fbi by in busybox shell with command fbi -ut 10 /location/of/files/* It says, tty is not a linux console. You cannot start this tool from the pseudo tty. Do I have to exit from midori to launch this utility? Thanks.

hi

I don't use FBI because it drop some color ...
try to use xli, which include in some midori distro ...

I use the following command to use my IA-1 like a picture frame ...
I write a script, but I can't random the pictures

xli -onroot -fillscreen -display localhost:0.0 file.JPG

If you want I could post here the complete script, but I'm not a programmer, and it was really written in "bad" code !!!!!

Thanks. I am running a compaq ia-1 (with the 32 megs of soldered memory.) I was able to open a picture when I closed opera and xmms. Maybe I would like to have that script that you have because the picture opens as a wallpaper and the xterm window is blocking it.

Hello,

I'm also interested in a script (using xli).
Can you please post it or send it to me?
I would also like to know how and where to kick off the script.

I would be interested in running a slideshow from a NFS mounted USB pendrive.

Thanks in advance!
