I bought 10 packs from vsps.com for 1200 and plan to cut one for CF-01. After I receive the package, I will post the verdict.

Just got the screen protectors and 1200 today (thanks Ryan and Jim, and yes, it also missed the I/O panel). I installed it on my 1200 and CF-01, I used the pencil to copy the curve of the CF-01 left side screen and cut it. Installation is a little bit tricky, I still got some small bubbles but both pens are working fine. Definitely it is a must-buy for CF-01 or 1200 owners. BTW you also can cut it for your Palm or PocketPC. I'm too dumb to spend another $10 for the Palm screen protectors :(.

JunkLeo,

I don't have it handy now(I'm working, you know). Anyway the height is about the 1200 screen height, the width is 1 cm shorter than the screen width(which there is a margin between usable area and the frame. 1200 screen is 8" + hot pods and epod is 8.2", I will say "too close to call." I will post the protector dimension tonight. BTW anyone buy the genuine 1200 screen protectors, and what is the price?

I just used transparancy film and cut it out a little larger than the visible screen area, messed around with it, trimmed it, slipped it in.

Cost to me = free since we have tons of the stuff at work.

Using transparancy film is some idea, but my fingerprints won't remain on the screen protector. I don't think transparancy film can prevent fingerprints, otherwise no one will buy screen protectors. Too bad they only sell 10 packs, the screen protector is worth $2.5 to me.

JunkLeo-

Would you want to sell some of your extra screen protectors that you got in that 10 pack from vsps.com? (I'm thinking 3 to 4 bucks a piece) I would never need all 10.

CoolMaui,

It is hard decision for me to sell the rest of screen protectors because I have Cf-01 and 1200, and it can be used for other devices. Maybe you can find someone here willing to split the cost(i.e., 5-5, 3-3-4, or 2-2-2-2-2,BTW it is free shipping from vsps.com). I recommend it to everyone because I don't have to worry about the scratch and no fingerprint on the screen now.

Just let you guys know - I cut a piece of screen protector and put it on my Sony Cyber-shot LCD, and it is PERFERT. No fingerprint on LCD anymore.

Does anyone know of a screen protector product that comes in a size that can be cut to fit both a CF-01 and an ePods?

Do the VSPS screen protectors have any adhesive?
I'd like to use them on ePods and CF-01 and based on the reported size above, they should fit bot units.

VSPS screen protectors can stick on the screen without tapes. I don't know there is adhesive or not, if so, it would be very light because you can redo the installation by peeling it off. BTW before you install it, clean the screen and make sure there is no fiber or dust on it, otherwise it is hard to remove it after put the protectors on (fiber will stick on the protectors ).

I used Ethyl Rubbing Alcohol and 100% cotton cloth. I didn't check the manual, I guess as long as there is no coating on the screen, it is ok using Alcohol. Using water should do it if the screen is not too greasy (not under the tap of course).

I picked up a 10 pack of the vsps.com screen protectors, and they work great!!! The hardest part is cutting the sheets to fit the CF-01 screen.... but the great part is if you mess up, you can redo it..... :)

Anyway, I do have about 6 extra sheets to sell if anyone is interested in some of them (I would never use all 10), and it would keep someone from forking over $25 for a set. If you are intersted, contact me.

I just used a ruler to get the hight and width, then just traced around the curve on the left side of the screen to get the rest. Worked great!!!
