Something for you folks into gaming (MAME?) might want to consider... The Gravis Stinger is a tiny gamepad (digital joystick + 10 buttons) with a short, 3 foot cable ending in a 9 pin serial connector. It was designed for laptop use. I bought one for my regular laptop (win2k) and then discovered (horrors!) that it only has 95/98 drivers, and Gravis has no plans on making drivers for 2k or XP for it. Bummer. It feels like a great gamepad and would be perfect for the -01.

I found mine on ebay and I suspect some resourceful person here can find a cheap source for them, since it is a discontinued product. Since I was able to curb my geek toy urges before getting a CF-01 (only just barely!), would anyone be interested in the gamepad I bought? It is new, never used, with all the software, but alas I destroyed the box opening it (sheepish grin). Supposedly once the driver is installed, it appears as a DirectX device, so it should work with most any app (YMMV, of course).

$20 takes it, including priority mail shipping. Anyone?
