I was watching the Screen Savers show on TechTV last night. Just before commercial, when they showed what was "coming next," they showed a quick shot of a CF-01! Of course I stayed tuned. The segment that followed was on home automation. It featured a fellow named Patrick Deutsh who had automated his home using homeseer. Patrick has CF-01's that he uses as touchscreen terminals for Homeseer home automation. (This is not uncommon, as there is a version of Homeseer that is designed specifically for the CF-01, called Touchbase.) It showed him walking around with one that had a wireless LAN card on it, and another on the base that is positioned so he can surf the net while taking a dump.  So the CF-01 has now made it onto national TV, a mere 2 years after they stopped making it. | |
