Can the sound be turned off???

I usually take my cf01 with me to the library to study, writing papers and the such with it. However, I hate how the system beeps every time I need to change the brightness or right-click. I can feel everyone giving me dirty looks. Anyway, is there some way to turn off the beeps? I can't find anything about this whatsoever.

It can. The top most icon (looks like a speaker) on the left side of the screen toggles the beeps on and off.

That's odd. I wonder if yours is any different, because mine just has two settings: loud and quiet. And there really isn't any difference between the two.

Taking notes must be a real pain using the on-screen keyboard.

Actually, I use Paragraph PenOffice. It has a pretty good recognition rate. I also have a flexible keyboard coming in the mail that should work well with longer papers.

Also, on the subject of the sound, I was messing around with it and somehow it fixed itself. Not really sure what happened. Kind of weird.
