How to recover HD space from Create System Disks

Does anyone happen to know how to recover the approximately 12 MB of disk space apparently taken up by the Create System Disks facility, WITHOUT actually creating the system disks?

I ask because I'd prefer to avoid generating another 31 floppies from my 2nd CF-01 after having done so already from my first CF-01, but I'd like to have that 12 MB for my own use rather than M$'s

For anyone interested, the exact number I came up with is 12,484,608 bytes more available on my 1st CF-01 than my 2nd. I haven't done anything else with either unit, so I assume that this is entirely due to the System Disk images.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Phil
