Please help, Bad bios problem

My cf-01 has a problem. I cannot get it to boot when I turn it on. Power lights, charge lights,hd spins up but nothing else. Not even a beep code.
Now when I remove the cmos battery and the main battery for a few days and then try to start it up I get the post screen but some of the text is scrambled like the serial # of the bios. It then locks up again. One time I got it to almost boot into windows so I know the screen is fine.
My question, Is there a way to reflash the bios or to short out the bios so it can be reset more quickly than waiting a few days between trys?
Maybe it is not the bios. Any ideas?
