Hey all. I'm looking for a device that I can use in various places around my house. The CF-01 devices look like they might work to serve my purpose, but I can't find much info on them. Will they handle Win2K? Also, will they work with any wireless networking (802.11b) cards? In general, how stable and easy to use are they? I'm not looking for anything that will serve heavy duties, mainly just web surfing, digital picture frame displays, home automation, etc. Any suggestions on what devices to buy would be great. Thanks!

Win2k may be too much for CF-01, and there is no PenService for WIn2K. I suggest you keep the Win95 or Win98Lite on CF-01, then install Remote Desktop Connection(can be found on XP CD) or Terminal Service Client to remote connect to the Win2k/XP host(assume you have another PC, PII or better). Currently I am using a SMC broadband router + SMC 2655W access point, and two LeArtery 802.11b wireless PC cards($35 from uBid last year, and yes, CF-01 works with them) for my CF-01 and F1200. This kind setup is very good for web surfing, my only complaint is the screen resolution only 640x480, you need to scroll the window more than on high resolution.
