Many of you may recall that I was the originator of the CF-01 group buy on this bbs. The group buy is long over, at a price of $355 plus $20 shipping (including the $400 docking station). I sold my last remaining sealed unit a while back and that was it.

Well, it turns out that I have one more unit after all. It was received defective (wouldn't power up) so I sent it to Panasonic for warranty repair. They ended up putting in a whole new motherboard and sending it back to me. So it's never been used, still factory packaged, the docking station with it is still brand new, it has a new motherboard, and is now already verified as warranted by Panasonic as they have already confirmed this. In fact, if I didn't tell you that Panasonic had replaced the board you'd never know it had been out of the box. When I got it back I powered it up just to make sure that it was fixed, but shut it off as soon as it showed me the Windows screen, so that's all the use it ever had.

I'll pass it on for the same group buy price, $355 plus $20 shipping including the docking station. Email me at tech@busdepot.com if you want it.

That's it for CF-01's for me, unless I decide to sell my one remaining personal unit some day. But I'm not planning on it. I've even tried a couple of more expensive webpads since the original group buy, but still haven't found one that I like better overall than this inexpensive Panasonic!

bob: I have a CF-01 that I will sell if bus_depot's is already sold. It hasn't been used. I bought several when bus_depot first started selling them. I took it out of the box to check that it power-up (it did) and then packed it back up. It has been boxed up ever since. If bus_depot's is still for sale, buy his (he deserves the sale for all his hard work). If not, let me know.
