Can anyone help out there as i dont have any drivers for my CF-01. i have had it for 1 year and now i have re-installed Win98 but dont seem to be able to get the touch screen to work at all i have tried several microtouch drivers but had no joy. and i keep getting a message about display setting not correct when it first loads up as well. It looks like there is no info other than here at this group about the CF-01. can someone PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

Hey!

If you're talking about the Win9X drivers that came with the unit, I can copy files from my CF-01 and email them to you (I'm running Win95 on it, but if you're on 98, it hopefully shouldn't matter any). You'll have to wait until next weekend though, it's currently busy being the mp3 player in my car.

Remind me who you are and to bring my CF-01 with me on Saturday (I have that "absent-minded professor" thing going, so I need to be reminded of everything) and be sure to tell me what files you need. I'll pull them off my system when I can (I will be at work afterall) and will include them in my email reply to you (I'll zip 'em all together for ya).
If you're looking for Linux drivers, I'm afraid I don't have any.

For replying back I will be emailing you on Wednesday. I need the vga and the touch screen drivers. But I can’t see the touch screen at all in device manager so I am a little confused to how I am going to install drivers for something that isn’t there.

You will not see any hardware related to the touch screen since that part used to be handled by windows pen, I am not sure if it is possible to install the latest pen in win98, I will try may be later :)

For those who need a virtual keyboard here's a nice freeware one.
