Can anyone tell me how they loaded windows 98 (or 98 second edition) onto their CF-01? Did the CF-01 come with a floppy version of 98? I've seen it listed that there was a version running 98. Just trying to figure out how to do it. Any help is very appreciated.
Thanks!
Bob

I haven't (I prefer 95 over 98) but I did load Office onto mine using a PCMCIA-connected CD-R drive to access the CD. I wonder if that would work?

I have 98SE on my CF01 but I'm damned if I can remember right now how I did it. One way would be to pull the drive and put the /win98 directory on it from the CD, but I'm sure I didn't do THAT cuz I've never pulled the drive on mine. I think I did it via a network card (though I still probably transferred the /win98 directory to the CF01 and then booted via a floppy).

I also bought 98lite (www.litepc.com) and am running 98SE pretty stripped-down, no IE (using Opera instead). But it works just fine with a wireless NIC (LeArtery but others work as well like Linksys and SMC).
