Are you sure that is the whole audio card and not just the mic input pcb? If it is there should be at least one identifiable chip on it, maybe one of the ess series chips.
Depending on its thickness it could probably be fit inside the cf-01 but wiring it in would be a big task since there is nothing like a normal bus in there.
Well it is hard to tell from the picture but I have a feeling that this is just the audio input for some laptop. It was probably an outboard pc board that had the mic and an indicator LED mounted remotely from the main motherboard. It might be worth looking at more closely.
