Sorry, put my name as the subject on the last one, thought I'd better repost with a correct subject.

I found some remote control software that works great on the CF-01. ONly problem is that buttons are too small.
Also available for Palm and CE, though haven't tried it on my ePods yet.
It works great on my Sony TV, worked first time I tried.
Didn't work on the Panasonic TV or my Sony VCR, but didn't mess with it except for a minute or two. Will experiment with CD,DVD,Tuner,VCR, etc. later.

I downloaded this prog. and was able to control my Sony receiver and CD player with it from across the room. Really cool. But this prog. doesn't have support for very many devices and looks like it hasn't been updated in a long time. It has a learning mode (right click on any blue button), but I couldn't get it to work.
Does anybody know of any other universal remote progs that use the IRDA port?? I searched for a while and couldn't find any. (While I was using my CF-01 to change CDs, I did read a bunch of posts saying that it was 'impossible' to use IRDA as a univ. remote)

It'd be really neat if we could use these as a univ. remote. I could throw my pronto away.
