I am in the process of taking the case apart (try the mem thing) and I want to make sure I do not
break anything. I have taken out the center, two corner, rubber handle and screw exposed in the battery
cover....any suggestions??

You do not need to take the rubber handle off. There are 5 screws that need to be removed to take the cover off. Three on the back side and (two inside, One is by the battery and one near the corner where the hard drive is). I have a laptop case cracker which I wedge in between the seam and it usually pops quite easily. Good luck
