What is the best PIM for the CF-01?

I would like to use my CF-01 as a "kitchen counter PIM" (among other things...)

What are some of you using as a pen-friendly, CPU-friendly personal info manager for calendar, tasks, notes, etc? (something less CPU intensive than Outlook 2000)

I'm looking for speed, ease of use, and pen friendliness as the most important attributes.

I was thinking of using the Palm Desktop as a standalone CF-01 PIM (or even the Palm emulator...). Any other suggestions?

Also, I found a link to some Microsoft beta pen software. It's great that the old Deja usenet files are finally online at http://groups.google.com . Now lots of old pen windows discussions are coming out of the woodwork :) I will try it out on the CF-01 and see how it works.

Those of you running Windows on your pen-based machine might be interested
in a distribution I've assembled.

At:
http://209.132.33.252/pencomputing/files/winpad/

you'll find a zipfile containing an installable version of Microsoft's
WinPad software. This is the last known release, and was shipped with the
Windows '95 "Chicago" beta. It's an interesting little package that might be
useful for simple scheduling, addressbook, and note-taking duties. Put that
730T (or 730TE) machine that you got from eBay to work!

Please be aware that this is unofficial/unsupported software. I'm a *very*
busy person, and if you email me with issues regarding the software I might
not respond for a long time (or ever).

I have been using a shareware Pim called Time & Chaos for years. It loaded onto my CF-01 without any problems. Lots of features.
