I just started hacking on the NWR04B have the jtag port up and running and able to dump mem ect..
specs
Conexant CX84200 arm based
8mb ram
2 mb of flash
atmel 802.11 pcmcia card..

picked it up at FRY'S for 29.99

my use for it is in robot iam working on and i wanted a wireless interface for it ..
so what i plan on doing is running uClinux on the NWR04B and using the serial port on it
to talk to a small micro controlling the motors ect..

and if i can find a dlink 900 eithernet cam and just plug it in the back of the NWR04B and
have video..

ok i just added some more info and files to http://www.linux-hacker.net/nwr04b/

i ported armboothttp://armboot.sourceforge.net/ to the cx84200 the source is at
http://www.linux-hacker.net/nwr04b/download/

there is also uClinux there set up for the cx84200 from http://hri.sourceforge.net/
using armboot there is a jffs2 file system in flash
so i just boot uClinux from boot/Image and it will mount root on the jffs2 fs.

here is the bootup text

Codeman,

Could you read off the numbers for the SDRAM and the flash? I want to see the what the data width is on the SDRAM.
I'm trying to get the armboot code to run on the DI-604.

Know who sells the NWR04B? My Frys (Sacramento) doesnt sell it nor does the other computer stores.

Greg

Hi Codeman,

What are you using to connect to the JTAG connector?

Thanks,
