Is anyone doing any innovation or hacking in this area? I bought a book and built some of the basic stuff, but I would like to see something more interesting in the field.
I don't know how much hacking you can do with beam apart from abusing various ICs. have you been to http://www.solarbotics.net ?
if you haven't, i highly recomemd it, it has some really good hosted sites you may enjoy. (also an EXCELENT referance library) but, if you MUST hack something, try hacking the bio-bug and give it a real analog brain instead of a stupid digital PIC processor.
