Anyknow know anything about the HDS/Neoware @Workstation or have software to run them? At one point in time someone was working on a linux port but that seems to have vanished now.

Thanks
Mike

The one I have (with no software) has an intel i960 CPU at 25Mhz, a 16meg 72pin SIMM with another empty slot. No upgrades at all and no drive power connectors to use the PC type floppy and IDE connectors. Its boot ROM has NetOS 2.0.2 printed on it, so it needs at least that hig a version to pull from an FTP/TFTP server to boot. Of course neoware has removed all NetOS downloads except for some documentation from their site. They have zero hardware info on the @WorkStation series. :(

St. Vladimir's has _some_ information that might be helpful:

Not now. All that's there is that index page. Not even archive.org has any of that site. :( This sort of "scouring" of the web to remove information on old hardware does NOT inspire me to buy anything new from Neoware.

Anyone remember when Western Digital had a dialup BBS to find documentation then a toll-free phone number to call, request the documents and leave a FAX number? WD would then FAX you the documents for FREE. That is what I call support. :)

Actually the entire website exists, the links in the document are just wrong. The links have an extra directory in them eg http://techsupport.svots.edu/TechSupport/Manuals/hds-help/2-0.html should be http://techsupport.svots.edu/Manuals/hds-help/2-0.html.
