Hello,
I have searched the web and this user group but I haven't been able to find the answer.
I have a Netier SL2000 with CDROM and floppy. I have taken out my 48 MB DOC and am currently using a 6GB hard drive instead. What I originally wanted to do was to find a Mini-Linux distribution to put on the DOC, something like Midori.
I would need the following : A simple GUI, XMMS (to play MP3's as well as playing Audio CD's once I insert a CD in the drive) a web browser would be nice but not necessary, also a plugin for XMMS that would allow me to connect a text based LCD to my parallel port to display info from the MP3 file. As you can tell I would like to put this in my car.
I'm a total noob when it comes to linux, but I have read a couple of posts where some people have successfully created linux distributions for the DOCs on the Netier. I was wondering if someone could
1)provide me with an image for one these distributions or
2)give me detailed instructions on how to accomplish this task using linux.
Thanks for your time.
