Hi,

It's my first post on this board so hello every one.

I found a nice project and want to implement it on old thin client. It's a low cost print server : http://www.pigtail.net/LRP/printsrv/
I understand that project derived from Bering sourceforge project.
I use an cyrix GX client with 16Mo ram and 16Mo DOC model 2000 without floppy. There is an ide port where I connect a cdrom. I burned necessary floppies as image for bootable cdrom.

I followed instructions as described here
http://www.pigtail.net/LRP/printsrv/hd/index.html

Make a 12bits partition, format DOC as C: , use syslinux and copy files.

When I turn on, I boot on the DOC. Pb occurs after extracting root archive in the ramdisk. No error message until line linuxrc:
could not mount the boot device. Can't install packages.
freeing unused memory kernel 57k freed
init : no initab file found.
Enter runlevel (and after 0, 1, 2... 3 nothing).

I'm not familiar with linux but if someone can help, I will be happy.

Have a nice day.
