I just bought one of these on ebay and i was going to add a hard drive and stuff that was until i hooked the box up to my tv and saw how cool this thing is! so i want to use my own internet service with it but dont know how to do it, you can change the DUN and DNS stuff but it try's to register first, so i havent gotten very far. I bought one of these boxes to turn into an mp3 player, but I agree, it's pretty cool as-is. I set mine up to use my current isp, and it works pretty well. I haven't figured out how to use the mail or to get the register screen to work, though.
I posted a message on how I got my isp to work with it on the Yahoo group for this set-top box.
