If you start with the cd it tells you PROXIE Not set
To make it a FULL PC
Just.....
Just............
USE ANY BOOT CD
Linux DSL<The Shet ITS SWEET on These>
Win98 BootCd <FAST>
Xp Live Cd<Ram SLOW but Not Bad>


And to get into the BIOS hit f1 or was it f10 or del..one of those
ALL Options are unlocked and ready for a change!

I opened it up ,finally got the guts to
from a glance:
ide cdrom,with some chip on it
while open i ran NSSI Freeware PC INFO Software<from Interesting Dos Programs Web Page>
told me the sound card IS a cmi8738,witch a search on google gave me the dos drivers
the full spects:

I removed the cpu,Placed in a AMD k6-2 500mhz cpu
can only get it to go 366mhz....
Changed in Bios - Video Shared ram From 1 meg to 4 megs
Will Now Attempt To Run GEEXBOX <www.geexbox.org>
Booted,NETWORK Shares Showed Up,Sound Works,Video works
Testing a AC3 Divx...Slower Than Mud ####...
#### it..i'ma try and place in a hard drive
Removing the DOC
DOC removed
Putting it back on to check BIOS
Noticed i need the DOC,Keep Power Cord Off
Booting
Entering BIOS..damn DOC reads Anyway
Need Hard drive Pins to connect FEmale to female connection for IDE

remove doc use ide male/male connector
istall on a hard drive win98 cd<copy all the files from a cd to a win98 dir on the harddrive>
boot
install
Done

DO NOT ask me how i did it...
But After the BIOS update
I Was Able To FORMAT /s The DOC!!!!
Dos and sound drivers are on it now.
Formatted to 3 megs

1 disk Xwin works on it too. not much there but it will all fit on the DOC . having something larger and more feasible like a 1-16G thumbdrive with the OS installed to boot from loadlin or sysslinux seems like the more resonable solution to tearing the thing apart or tying up the cd-drive ;)

Anybody had any luck getting a thumb drive to boot the thing up when the bios is set to boot ZIP/C first ?
