Got Mine
initial observations on the think nic.

Man this thing really runs hot. OK, I've had it for the customary 5 minutes so I can take it apart now.

There is one memory slot so it looks like we can easily upgrade that. It looks like I can plug in a HD (instead of the CD) but I'm not sure on where to get the power yet. Looks like Codeman will be doing a kit for these too :->

The powersupply is PC100 so I'm guessing that the motherboard is too.

The thing works, the real player plays and the java seems ok too. Now I haven't done much but for the money it's not too bad. If it had some embedded apps (even something simple like a couple games) it would be a really really neat system.

opps, missed a menu. There's a bunch of stuff on the home page (of the localhost). There's some games and VNC, among other stuff. Still looking for a way to get to a shell. I can browse the machine with Netscape but can't execute stuff.
