Ok, I'm retarded..the box and receipt says ethernetbut the card says Jackets: RJ-11..whats up..how cn i be sure?

Do you have two or three "telephone style" jacks in the back. If you have only two (with the other covered up by a black sticker), it's most likely HPNA. If all three are there, then it's most likely ethernet.

Open it up to check for sure. If the card next to the memory (not the modem card) does NOT have a connector going to the motherboard just above the rJ45 connector, then it is ethernet. If it does have a two wire connector, then it is HPNA.
