just a quick question...can you use any old generic SoDIMM in these? what's the going rate on a 128MB? thanks

here's the gist: any 128mb single bank Sodimm shoud do.
I got one at Fry's for $79.
Since I noticed no improvement in performance, I returned it.

Crucial http://www.crucial.com has them (PC100) for $58.49 (CT16M64S6W8E). I have this in mine.

Best Buy had a sale last week - $40 after rebate. I haven't tested one of these. They have them on sale for $50 this week.

memorytogo.com still has the 128MB IOpener sodimms for $46. search for CAP161.
