Hi! I spoke to a gateway representitive last week, and asked her about the length of the 200 dollar price, and why it was so cheap! They did have way too many of them, and were attempting to reduce inventory.
Anyway, we also chatted about the cost-and when I talked to her yesterday she said that because she promised and quoted me the 200 dollar price I could still get it for at least a few more days (till the end of may i think)

Anyway, I need to know if its worth it. If I get enough positive response I will buy one now and immediately get to work making a build of midori for it. So please respond-tell me positive or negative, whatever your expirience was with it. Is it worth spending 220 on this as opposed to a hacked i-opener?
Will it work for some mp3 streaming and such? Is it well worth the 200 bucks it costs?

Thanks,
Ben

i think it is well worth the $200 price...i have just started hacking around in mine and think it is great...the best part is the touchscreen...where else are you going to get a $200 LCD touchscreen? i think this has definite potential in my home theater as a master controller...not sure yet though

that sounds good to me...could i reasonably expect to use it as, say, a car mp3 player?
